Keystone Grey 8789-4 (Colourant for 1lt) ADD DEEP BASE

HOW IT WORKS & How paint colours are made. This is the COLOURANT required to ADD to 1lt of the required BASE for this colour. The BASE is in the DESCRIPTION of the chosen colour. The same COLOURANT can be added to either Acrylic base products or Oil base products (like enamels) There are 4 different bases to make all colours. 1 – WHITE BASE – this is the lightest and whitest of all bases. 2 – PASTEL BASE – this is slightly darker than the white base, as it has less white in it. 3 – DEEP BASE – this is again slightly darker than the pastel base, having less white. 4 – CLEAR BASE – this has no white in it and is used to make dark colours. * The DEEP and CLEAR BASES use far more colourant than the white and pastel bases, yet are slightly cheaper to manufacture. This is seen in the pricing. * BASES are not sold seperate to a colourant (Tint) nor the colourant seperate to the bases. If one requires 1lt, one ADDS a 1lt colourant to a 1lt BASE in the PRODUCT you want. If one requires a 5lt, one requires 5X the 1lt colourant and a 5lt in the BASE of the PRODUCT required. If one requires a 20lt, one requires 20X the 1lt colourant and a 20lt in the BASE of the PRODUCT required. The COLOURANT can be added to the correct BASE of any of the following PRODUCTS. – ELEGANCE SILK (1Lt, 5Lt or 20Lt) Int. Ext. Trim – LoGlo Eggshell Enamel (1Lt or 5Lt) Int. Ext. Trim NOTE ON COLOURS Colours can be deceptive when displayed in combination with other colours. A deep colour can look dark on a light colour yet look light on a dark colour. Interior colours usually look darker, wheras exterior surfaces, with lots of bright light, make a colour look lighter.
